We blend documentary and editorial photography as lifestyle photographers. This means we approach the day with care for the beautiful moments that unfold but when it comes time for “formal” portraits, we love to bring the fun! We know how challenging it can be to get your photo taken and we want you to not just tolerate photos but genuinely have fun.

Because we have been in this field for nearly a decade, we see how styles are constantly changing. We want you to have photos you’ll love in 30+ years so our focus is on vibrant colors mixed with a hint of film photography.
I FEEL THIS! Believe it or not, I do not love being in front of the camera (that's a euphemism). I know being in front of the camera can be terrifying so I love to make it FUN. From direction, prompts, and games I will guide you to a photography experience you'll love.
I'm awkward in photos! can you help?
My calendar fills up fast, and I want to make sure I’m available on your wedding day! I highly recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date set to request my availability. For weddings we book up 12-18 months in advance. Elopements and engagements typically book 3-9 months in advance.
How far in advance should we book you?
You sure can! Chris and I can be booked as your photo and video duo or photo only and video only. Ask about a photo or video only package.
Can i book only photography or videography?
All Meraki’s photography packages include high-resolution images (to start your Pinterest-worthy wedding photo wall), standard resolution images (to share on Facebook or post on your Insta), and access to an online image gallery to download all your photos. The majority of the photos will be in color, with a select few edited to be black and white. If you ever want to change your photos from color to black and white, please let me know as I’m happy to re-edit them. For information about package add-ons—let’s talk!
What type of images are included in a package?
To secure your date, all I need is your signed contract and paid deposit. For Wedding and Elopement Packages, a 25% deposit is required. For Couples & Engagement Sessions, a 50% deposit is required. After that, the boring details are taken care of and you get to look forward to your big day!
How do we reserve our date?
Your gorgeous photos will be edited and uploaded to your online gallery about 8-12 weeks after the date of your wedding or elopement. Your films will be delivered within 6 months of your wedding.For Couples & Engagements, your photos will be ready in 4 weeks after your session.
